Rain, Rain Go away

It is about 8:30am here in the 1000 Islands and it has been raining since 6:00am.  Not fun! Most of us had plans to swim to a nearby rock (okay, maybe it is about 300ft across the bay.)  How can we swim to the rock when it is raining.  Oh, well. I  hope the weather clears up.

Right now Jackie, Karen and I are the only ones up and about.  Well, I should say that Jim just walked into the kitchen.  We are either on the internet or fixing breakfast.  I did had oatmeal and yogurt for breakfast.  It was delicious.  I'm not sure what the others will be having besides tea and coffee.

Right now there are no plans for the day.  I'm sure we will come up with something.  Last night after dinner we played a competitive game of Phase 10.  In every hand, Jackie and Johnny were the first two people to be skipped.  Johnny had us laughing every time he got skipped.  In the end, Jackie completed Phase 10 and won the game.   Johnny came in a close 2nd but did not complete the phase.  It was a lot of fun to spend an evening playing games with friends.
