Reflection from the past

Just thought I'd share a poem I wrote several years ago. I hope it blesses.

Lord I come

Lord, I come to you for direction.
Please show me what to do.
Without your Guiding Hand,
I am left without a clue.

My Child, I come to you with guidance.
Take my outstretched hand.
Without you will falter.
Remember, I am in command.

Lord, I come with many questions.
Please show me what is right.
There is much confusion.
I am kept awake at night.

My child, I come to you with answers.
They are written in My Word.
There you will find solutions,
To the problems with seem absurd.

Lord, I come with my heart broken.
Please mend it strong and new.
When will my heart learn
To continually trust in You.

My Child, I come to you with My Love.
Please do not worry or fear.
When trouble comes to tempt you,
Remember I am always near.

Until next time~
Blessings to you~~

Wow! What a beautiful poem thatshows the conversation between god and one of His children. It is a conversation anyone of us could have but you have so eloquently responded as God would....that He is always there for us, even when we don't think He is.

Beautiful job!!!

This is definitely a beautiful poem, and I love the idea of the conversation, dialoged back and forth between the child and the Father. Great dialog, great concerns of the heart, I know that I have felt these many times, said these things many times, and He certainly follows through with His responses to us!

Thank you so much for sharing!
