How often do I let my activity draw me away from Jesus? How often to I become anxious about a situation in my life and think I have to be the one to fix the problem? In the above verse, God tells me to "Be still and know that He is God." When I am still and willing to let Him be God, He can accomplish amazing things in my life. Not to bring glory to me, but so that "He will be exalted among the nation, He will be exalted in the earth."
I am learning to be still. It is not always easy, but it is rewarding. I want to continue to know that He is God. I want Him to be exalted in every area of my life. I want to cease striving for what I think is best and surrender my expectations to God so that He will be glorified and the world will know that HE IS GOD.
