Thursday night found me at the Chapel at Crosspoint for a great dinner of Italian sausage and a good message about Pride from Pastor Deone. Last week we started meeting under the portico and it was nice to be outside rather than in the Crosspoint Theater.
This week we celebrated one of the couples 50th wedding anniversary. You may ask why a married couple is attending a singles group. I am not sure why but I would venture a guess that they enjoy Pastor Deone's messages. The neat thing about the anniversary was that it was also the husband's birthday. (He could not forget his annivesary) Well, anyways, MOSAIC had cake and ice cream in honour of the couple's anniversary.
After the message, most of my friends and I just hung out. A few of them ended up at Jackie's for a bonfire. I had already gone home to go to bed early (which did not happen).
