Be Near

Yesterday at church a song was sung by the bass player that touched my heart. Some of the words were as follows: "Be Near O God, Be Near O God, Your Nearness is to us our Good" As I listened to the song, God reminded me that He is always near, I am the one who chooses just how near He can be to me. He is always waiting for me to draw close because when I draw close there is comfort and safety. There is also wisdom and guidance. It is my prayer that I always draw near to God because as the song says, "His nearness is to us our Good."
